Dénes Farkas has stated that despite mapping and contemplating the surrounding absurdity through self-reflection and the gradual existentialist interpretation of himself, he has not reached the expected solutions. It is summed up by the statement that there is no way out. However, Farkas leaves the specifics unexpressed. Behind all the situations and actions recorded by the artist the void can be sensed. This is slightly interrupted by the cursory behavioural and relationship models and flawless sterility. Referring to the surrounding environment, Farkas's three-dimensional models for absolute cognition of emptiness and vanity, loneliness and possible predestined failure have been created in silence and generate physical agony. The artist perceives the environment as something constructed and conscious of its own powerlessness. Situation and time are unimportant in Farkas's reality; what matters is the mechanics of their functioning. There is no belief in the relative system, the necessity of taking sides, or taking one's stand. It's not pessimism that feeds the artist's microrealities – it's the certain indifference, puzzlement and helplessness mixed with poetic melancholy. The incompleteness of situations and relationships, vanishing and postponing solutions have been moulded into the uncertain landscape.
