According to an Office Desk – An Introduction to The Office for Curating
On 23rd September at 4 PM curator and writer Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk will introduce the The Office for Curating recent and ongoing activities, aims and the ideologies embedded within its curating and writing practices to an audience in Tallinn (Estonia). The event is organised by Rebeka Põldsam, as part of the events programme of the Center for Contemporary Arts, Estonia (CCAE). The conversation is held in English.
The Office for Curating has started an art theory reading group event series Reading Complex. Before Tallinn exhibition Lekkerkerk has curated Two in the Wave in Rotterdam, Can't Hear My Eyes in Barcelona and Madrid, The Great Indoors in Brussels. In 2013 he will also curate together with Elena Damiani All the Pieces, Back Together in London.
The talk is followed by opening drinks of Tallinn Photomonth 2013.
