Talk series on Finnish art scene

Talk series FINNISH TUNNEL on Finnish art life 

This season, EKKM and CCA, Estonia in collaboration with Finnish Institute have the pleasure to invite you to lecture series on Finnish art scene. There will be three lectures during Spring 2017: international artist Jaakko Pallasvuo (22.03), artist and curator of artist-run-space SIC Maija Luutonen (12.04) and curator of Pori art museum Anni Venäläinen (24.05). 

Finland is situated next to Estonia but how much do we really know about them? Besides the exhibitions of Yayoi Kusama or Amadeo Modigliani in big Finnish art museums nobody often really knows what is happening across the Finnish bay.  

EKKM’s Café will publish a special Finnish-style drink menu for the event series. All talks will be in English.  

The event series is part of Finnish Institute program “100 Talks” that is created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finnish Republic.
