Väinö Tanner Foundation's residence scholarships

Väinö Tanner Foundation´s writer and artist residence scholarships for 2018 are again open for all Estonian writers, artists and artisans.
 
Väinö Tanner Foundation is an independent private Finnish Foundation which has supported Finnish and Estonian art and literature by providing residences for Finnish and Estonian artists, artisans, writers and poets over 25 years. 
 
In 2018 the available periods for Estonian artists and artisans are in the old studio residence (1. studio) July-December 2018 and in the new studio residence (2. studio) June-September 2018, in both residences for 2 or 4 consecutive months. 2018 residence periods for Estonian writers and poets in the writers residence are August-October 2018, 1 or 2 consecutive months.
 
The scholarship includes a rent free visiting period. From now on the Foundation does not cover travel costs anymore.

Application period is 11.8.-10.9.2018. An application can be made only on the website. Application should be made in English or Finnish. Detailed instructions are available in the application system.
